Dear Parents,
I know you are all in different situations and for some, what I set here may be enough or too much. Please don’t feel under pressure to complete everything. You and your family’s well-being are of utmost importance. If you need advice on home schooling/the work set, please email me. If you would like more targets e.g. reading lists/phonics, please email me. If your child attends learning support or has SNA access, Mr. Duffy and Julie can be contacted through our email too. We will begin to use the Seesaw app after the May Bank Holiday for more interaction with the children. Please click on Week 4 for information.
Many of you have probably discovered RTÉ’s Home School Hub on RTÉ2 11-12 daily. The teachers are ‘real’, qualified teachers. Múinteoir Ray’s lessons are aimed at 1st and 2nd class but are suitable for Infants too. The programme goes up on RTÉ player afterwards, with worksheets available on www.rte.ie/learn/. I will sometimes put one of these lessons as a weekly target if I feel it would be of benefit to our class.
