We were the lucky recipients of a government grant to purchase equipment, to cover days out, in-school workshops and outdoor learning experiences, that will develop the children's learning across STEAM subjects. Heritage in Schools Day Trip
We had a fantastic day out at St. Patrick's college, hosted by Heritage Ireland. The children experienced a range of hands-on learning activities based on our heritage.
Engineering Week
As part of our STEM work, the whole-school joined together for our annual Engineering Week event. The children worked in groups to create a working (moving), mini-float for St. Patrick's Day. Science Week 2023
Sound experiments went underway during Science Week this year. The children enjoyed a Zoom webinar with a Marine Biologist during the week, and a Lego technic workshop (see separate post for photos!)
