The children raised over €150 for children-in-need, across Co. Carlow, ahead of Christmas, with their annual Readathon. Thank you to our supporters, and to the Student Council and Ms. Griffin for planning the event. Everyone enjoyed the activities and fun on the day.
Everyone enjoyed taking part in the Lego Technic workshop, facilitated by Teddy from Bricks4Kids. The Junior Infants built fabulous characters, while the older children worked in pairs to build motorised helicopters.
Sound experiments went underway during Science Week this year. The children enjoyed a Zoom webinar with a Marine Biologist during the week, and a Lego technic workshop (see separate post for photos!)
The Senior Room really captured everyone's attention with their interesting Hallowe'en themed information graphs and explained the results of their school survey very well.
From Space dramas, to constructing spacecraft, to creating rockets from Junk Art, the Junior Room really enjoyed Space Week this year!
