On Wednesday Fr. Shem came to the school for our Service of Light celebration in preparation for Confirmation. The children discussed their pledges, attended confession and spoke to Fr. Shem about the sacrament of Confirmation and what it means to them.

Last week we marked engineer's week with a whole school project that involved the children learning about strong shapes and working in groups to design and build bridges. This was followed by a showcase, where the children spoke about the design and build process. We were very impressed with their insightful comments and unique designs.
We had great fun celebrating World Book Day. The children put great effort into their costumes. We spent time reading together, hot seating characters from some of our favourite books and we tuned in to hear David Walliams read an extract from his new book - Robo Dog.
We are having great fun at Science Blast in the RDS. The children are enjoying visiting all the stands and learning about space, renewable energy and how physics can help you improve your soccer skills. They presented their project very well and got great feedback from their judge.
