We are delighted to announce we are winners of the prestigious Gold Curious Minds award 2023, for our work across the STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). The Gold award replaces the DPSM Plaque of STEM, which we have won every year since entering. We take part in many national STEM events throughout the year, including Maths Week, Science Week and Engineering Week. The children love working together in teams for Engineering Week to work on a challenge, and do a fantastic job presenting their work. The Senior Room travel to the RDS to present a project at Science Blast. This year’s entry was ‘Do our other senses affect our sense of taste?’ The children are lucky to have such enriched learning experiences in STEM subjects. Well done everyone!
