Carlow County libraries are running a poetry competition for Poetry Day on Thursday 27th April. We were given the start of a Limerick, and the challenge to complete it. One of the options sets the scene ‘In a bend in the Barrow, near Nurney’! Here are 1st and 2nd class’ entries.
